Established in 2011, Heritage Prints LLC provides exquisite paintings of some of the most beloved buildings.
The initial offering includes the Pioneer Temple Series. Considered a lost art, the rendering technique utilizes the traditional watercolor wash rendering methods taught at the École des Beaux-Arts (School of Fine Arts, Paris) in the 1800s.
As technology and new methods replaced how architects presented their designs, renderings became less artful. Artist Clayton Vance, trained in the renewed discipline of architectural wash rendering at the University of Notre Dame and in Italy, recovers the fine art technique with modern antiquing to create an ambiance reflecting the timeless beauty of these pioneer era temples.
This site seeks to expand and become an outlet for many independent artists who focus their work on architecture. We will update the website regularly with educational videos, tutorials, new products, and more for all who are interested in the fine art of architecture.
