Trained in classical architecture, traditional town planning, and landscape design, Clayton Vance now presents to the public a series of architectural paintings unlike anything seen before.
His work includes beloved buildings that he's hand drafted, water colored, and then antiqued, to create an ambiance reflecting the timeless beauty of these beloved buildings.
He was trained at the University of Notre Dame in the US, and also in Italy, where he learned the forgotten art of architectural wash rendering that was taught at the École des Beaux-Arts (School of Fine Arts, Paris) in the 1800s.
